The Society for Breeders of African and Asiatic Small Finches

The club is run by a committee of members elected to take on different roles. The club officers and lay committee members were elected at the club's AGM (annual general meeting) on Saturday 24th June 2023 at our Midlands branch venue.
This up-to-date list includes those commmittee members who have also taken up co-opted positions in the interim.

To act as editor of the society's quarterly magazine, The Waxbill, including liaison with contributors through to production of the magazine.

|Secretary||Vacant||To convene all Society meetings, to keep a written record of the minutes and correspondence, and to work closely with the President, Chair and Treasurer in providing leadership to the Society.|
|Treasurer||Vacant||To conduct the financial business of the club and to provide a financial report for the AGM.|
|Species Booklets Editor||Vacant||To act as editor and the principal contact for queries relating to the society's species' keeping and breeding booklets available to purchase.|
|Membership Secretary||Mark Eaton||To act as the central point for membership queries and deal with subscriptions for existing and new members.|

To liaise with members to obtain annual breeding returns in order to provide contributions to The Waxbill, the society's website, as well as to the general aims of the society.
